Another Book Release by Asian Academy of Arts

 

Renowned Buddhist scholars shared their perception about the legendery Jatak tales associated with the different lives of budha at Marwah Studios. The occasion was the release function of the poetic anthology “ Jatak Kavya Mala” adopted by management guru Prof. Lallan Prasad
.
Speaking on the occasion President Asian Academy of Arts Sandeep Marwah informed the august audience that the anthology is an outcome of the department of writing under the auspices of Asian School of Media Studies created to bring writers, publishers and the academia on the same platform. He announced that 12 such books will be published this year under a similar tripartite collaboration.

Prof. Bikhu Satyapal of Buddhist studies underlined the importance of the Jataka tales in the growth of Indian ethos. Prof Harishankar Prasad praised Prof. Lallan Prasad for his outstanding literary contribution.

Prof. Prasad said it was a fulfillment of his life long cherished dream to bring out this work he expressed his gratitude to Marwah Studios for making it possible.

Cell phone cinema takes over Marwah Studios

A  new chapter was added in the history of Marwah Studios when a flurry of activities sprang up during the 5th International festival of Cell Phone Cinema. The festival was formally launched along with the Hungarian art and sculpture exhibition at the campus. It was followed by a seminar on cinema by Master Professor Karl Bardosh of Tisch school of Arts , New York University at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

The formal inauguration was done by Presedent Sandeep Marwahl in a jam packed house where filmmakers ,TV presenters and members of the academia shared their perception about the advent of mobile phone as a medium of audio visual creativity. The student of Asian Academy of film and television and Asian school of Media Studies showcased there flight of imagination through a variety of themes in the six awad winning films and still pictures each. Prof Bardosh conducted a workshop at the campus also to finetune the themne of mobile cinema for the benifit of the students.

Speaking on the occasion, the president said’ this year festival has reaffirmed the faith of the filmmakers in the latest version of expression and imagination through a wide range of topics and issues. It was reflected in award winning films like, Citizen Journalist by Chanchal D Roy and Living Pyres by Arvind Kumar Gupta.
